Schedule Development
Our Online Scheduler is written in an older ASP version. (ASP=Active
Server Pages -> ASP is a scripting language developed by Microsoft, used mostly
on Windows servers only. ASP is used to create dynamic pages that interact with
a database.)
Since the way the program interacts with the database is very complex, the
response time is high. We are currently re-writing the code into ASP.net 2.0
that should speed up the response time remarkably.
Once the code revision is completed, we also will customize some of the
functions, such as simultaneous booking for aircraft instructor (for now you
have to make two separate entries) and we also will include some weather Widgets which basically will show real-time
radar pictures and the
forecasted weather.
