The G1000 Trainer is a PC based program which is able to simulate the functions of the G1000 avionics panel. The newer version 7.01 also incorporates the GFC 700 Autopilot.

The program has some known issues which will be listed in our User Forum. Also suggested remedies will be mentioned.

At this time, the G1000 Trainer is only able to show one screen at the time (either the PFD, the MFD or Reversionary Screen. Screens can be changed on the top program tabs. The Audio Panel of the G1000 is not included in the Trainer.

This trainer is an excellent tool to get familiar with the G1000 procedures. For more flexibility you can hook up a yoke to your computer and control your simulated aircraft.

Control entries are executed with the mouse. You put the curser over an appropriate button. By clicking you can activate the button and change the needed entry.

Please study the system requirements before buying the Trainer software. Not every desktop computer will be able to run it properly. Only higher end laptops will work.
